My dear Ella,
I have often thought about how this generation(and a few before it) are these kids who grow up with computers in their lives, and just don't think about it. Those that use the mouse at age 3 better then many people 20 times their age(for now). But I have to say it is the weirdest thing to watch you get absorbed in the computer at 3 1/2 months. You enjoy looking at the photos(who doesn't) as much as we do. Often times you will watch the iTunes music visualizer for your dicey 5-6 pm hour, when you are really too tired for much of anything, but you will happily watch the colors entranced...

It's really hard to imagine what the impact of having all these computers around will be for you, but one thing is for sure. You will be no stranger to them. We will keep showing pictures and you will continue to enjoy them.
And I guess we will be reading your blog which I am sure you will be writing at some ridiculous age(by our outdated standards)!
I love you my little computer user(we won't make you suffer windows, you will be much happier with these Apple things-trust me on this one),

CommentsWhat happened that picture? What is all the white rectangles on it? Posted by: Rachel at December 6, 2004 09:36 AM Ella's first programming challenge should be to write a piece of software that can analyse all of those iTunes visualiser images and figure out what songs you were all listening to at the time. Great to see you smiling Ella! Looking forward to seeing you again in a couple of weeks! Love, Posted by: Uncle Matt at December 7, 2004 11:19 PM |
